BMW has completed production of its new 335is Coupe and Convertible editions and has plans to unveil it at the 2010 New York Auto Show. The coupe as well as the convertible editions are designed exclusively for the US market and will be available for sale in late spring.

The 2011 BMW 335is coupe will be priced at $50,525 including destination charges while the convertible edition will be priced at $59,075 including destination charges.

This new edition will sport a more powerful version of the familiar N54 twin turbo inline six cylinder engine which would generate an output of 320 horsepower and 332 pounds feet of torque.  The new edition will offer a perfect balance of aggressive looks and excellent handling.

It is expected that BMW will feature 7 speed dual clutch transmission instead of standard six speed manual transmission. The new edition will accelerate from zero to 60 mph in flat 5 seconds. The convertible takes a little more time than the coupe edition due to its slightly increased weight. The convertible edition would sprint from zero to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds with either gearbox.

The 2011 BMW 335is edition would be equipped with special features like xenon adaptive headlights, standard 18 inch alloy wheels, kidney grille surrounds in high gloss black, and exclusive 335is badges.

The interior cabin would sport M door sills, M gear shift knobs, M drivers foot rest, M Sport steering  wheel, high quality  stainless  steel sport  pedals,  sport seats and anthracite  headliners.
